Drop by the community Public Input Meeting on Wednesday August 19, 2026 any time between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm to help us identify conflict points, share your ideas on how we can improve safety, and share your input on safety priorities.
The Public Input Meeting will be held at Point Remove at Central Fire Station located at 203 W 2nd Street, Russellville, AR 72801.
Our Vision
The City of Russellville is committed to enhancing public safety within our transportation network through comprehensive planning and community engagement. Our mission is to identify key areas for improvement, carry out identified projects, and ensure that every resident feels safe utilizing the streets, sidewalks, and trail systems in Russellville.
By focusing on traffic safety and proactive initiatives, we aim to create a safer, more connected city.
Streets Alive Russellville comprehensive safety action plan is:

Examining crash data,

Identifying the high injury roadway network where we have the most crashes and safety concerns, and

Prioritizing safety improvements that will protect our community.
Project Goal
Approximately 931 traffic crashes occur within the City of Russellville annually. Some crashes are minor -- a fender bender -- but some have life-altering consequences.
On average 3 people are killed each year in crashes in Russellville. Streets Alive Russellville aims to make our roadways safer to meet the Vision Zero Goal adopted by our City Council.
